OUR PROGRAMMES
BRINGING the COMMUNITY TOGETHER
We believe real change happens when people connect. Our programmes are designed to unite locals, tourists, visitors, schools and organisations around a shared mission: protecting the ocean.
Whether its your first clean up or you are a regular volunteer, you are part of a growing movement making a difference - one piece of plastic at a time.

BEACH & UNDERWATER
CLEANuPS
Through hands on action and community spirit, we organise beach, barrancos, forest and wasteland clean ups that make a real, visible difference. Every event is an opportunity to remove marine litter, protect wildlife and raise awareness about the impact of pollution on our coastal ecosystems.
TRASH TRACKER PROGRAMME
Our Trash Tracker initiative turns everyday clean ups into powerful scientific action.
Across the island, individuals and families are stepping up as TRASH TRACKERS - each doing their part to record, remove and understand marine debris in our environment.
Every piece of litter tells a story. By recording what we find, and how much is collected, we can identify pollution hotspots, track trends over time and better understand the sources of marine waste.
This means that every clean up becomes more than just action - it becomes data that drives change.

EDUCATION PROGRAMMES
At Oceans4life, youth leading change, education is at the heart of everything we do.
We deliver engaging workshops on recycling, marine pollution and environmental responsibility, helping young people understand the impact of human activity on our oceans and how they can be part of the solution.
Our mission is to inspire the next generation. We believe that real change starts with the youth, who will shape the future of our planet.
We work with schools, colleges and universities to bring environmental education to life through hands on experiences and real world learning.
Since 2017, we have visited over 102 schools, delivering interactive workshops and ocean conservation programmes across the island.
